MYS News: Heesen Sells 59M Project 'Skyfall'

Project 'Skyfall' Sold And Announced At MYS '19

The first news coming from the opening day of the 2019 edition of the Monaco Yacht Show (MYS) is from Dutch yard Heesen. They have announced the signing of a 59-meter project called 'Skyfall'. The vessel will be all-aluminium and built on the Fast Displacement Hull Form (FDHF) with an exterior by Frank Laupman of Omega Architects. The custom superyacht is for an owner who wants performance while still enjoying the joys of angling. To satisfy both of these requirements Heesen has a 22,000 horse power propulsion package linked to four waterjets! 37-knots is the anticipated top-end under light-load circumstances. The aft will be made into a fishing cockpit. The exterior paint finish will also be of note, designed to highlight the aggressive design and power of this new yacht. Hull 19959 is expected to be completed by the Spring of 2023. Have a look at the single rendering released by Heesen of this new custom project.

Project Skyfall will have five cabins for owner and guests with four cabins on the lower deck and the owner having most of the upper deck for themselves. The master suite is on the aft end of the bridge deck facing aft and has direct access to the outdoor terrace fitted with a jacuzzi. The interior measures around 900GT giving owner and guests decent space to enjoy. Heesen also revealed on the opening day of the show that they have 12 yachts currently under construction that have them busy through to 2023. Notable builds currently in the works are the 80-meter Project 'Cosmos', 60-meter Project 'Falcon' and now the 59-meter Project Skyfall. Project Cosmos is pictured below.
