Bacteria/fungus in fuel tank 68’ lazzara

    weve had the strainers cleaned and the fuel polished one day.
    How can we get this junk out of system once and for all?

    Polishing the fuel should help assuming their fuel pick up was all the way at the bottom to get the water out.

    Then burn the fuel keeping a close eye on the racors. Assuming Lazzara installed twin racors for each engine make sure you run one at a time so you always have one ready to go. Many people run both at the same times which means they both get dirty and when you notice it s too late

    Sometimes the only option is to cut a hole in the top of the tanks and hand clean them. The bacteria just loves to sit in all the corners.

    Following that, a strict regimental dose of fuel treatment should follow.
