News: Feadship 77M Hull 818 Emerges

77-meter Hull 818 Emerges At Feadship

The latest hull from Feadship emerged from her build shed last month. One thing is that Feadship announced a few days before the launch that they were going to live-stream the event and they did. The 77.25-meter hull is quite different from the usual and even though the yard announced the impending launching there is still not a whole lot to go on with this build.

The exterior of this yacht is also from a designer than we usually do not hear about in this field. Jarkko Jamsen was responsible for the exterior lines while the interior is by Sinot Yacht Design. The design on the exterior has been described by the yard as "elegant and well-proportion". It also looks a bit automotive. The tender garage is located internally in the bow just behind the mooring deck. With a large transom door visible it possibly suggests a beachclub in in this position. An interesting detail that Feadship did was have the teak decking installed transversely and it is visible in the photograph below.

Hull 818 has an estimated gross tonnage of 1,900 GT. Other visible features include what appears to be a large pool on the aft main deck and aft deck overhangs with actuating louvers integrated in them. Distinct attention has been paid to the use of extensive glass on the superstructure. As more information becomes available on this new yacht YF will update you accordingly.
