Dunno' if a 951 Porsche is an exotic, when I try to find a mechanic for it he says its an exotic, so I guess it would qualify. This thing is pretty fast for an 80's ride. Just did a cam belt replacement, cone filter, front spoiler lip, yeup its pretty fun.. WIN_20151207_12_30_06_Pro.jpg

While this is a 1972, the E-type was launched in 1961, Marine Stadium opened in 1963

Saw a Miami Blue 718 this evening... I think that may very well be the prettiest blue on the road ever.

I could easily rationalize spending more for a Toyota. It will be cheaper to maintain than a Porsche, but all bets are off with the Supra's underpinnings.

With a smile, I'm confused about this Toyota.
It's built at a Porsche plant in Austria, then some how 300 of them will be delivered to North America.
By way of Japan? Where does the name get glued on? I'm sure not at the plant.
Is the owners manual first printed in Japanese or German?
Is it a Japanese or European car?

If I called up British Leyland and ordered 300 Land Rovers, Trimmed them so they weren't so ugly, Put my name on the hood (Ralph Rover), would they have to come thru Satsuma or straight to the dealers? Would it be an English or Crappy car?

You, and everyone else, but Toyota took a smart approach to the resurrection. This new Supra is quite likely a bridge-gap before ushering in the E-revo. In the interim, lucky owners are going to enjoy a relatively affordable track tool.

Would still take a 719 Spyder over the Toy, and I don't even like Porkers.

Stayed up late last night to watch the reveal. Enzo must be doing a couple hundred RPMs in his grave. If they don't sell every one they build next year, then the sports car segment has lost its heartbeat. (no Chevy pun intended)

Pretty amazing especially considering the price and performance. Never been a big Vette fan but this is pretty nice.

Now... I hope all these wonderful cars are driven the way they should be driven. Too many old farts cruising 10 below speed limit in brand new corvettes. :) at least they usually stay In the slow lane
