    Try accessing anything to fix it on those boats, you have to have the body of a 10 year old boy that happens to have the arms length of someone that’s 6’3. Also the placement of some items just leaves you scratching your head in amazement.

    The 5 primary items my survey found will be addressed before closing. 31 secondary items will be addressed as well, but honestly some are so minor that I’ll take care of them myself. (For example: splicing in a length of line at the bitter end of the all chain anchor rode).

    Yeah, that is where I was too: Important stuff done before delivery, the rest done when convenient now that everything is documented and dated.
    I enjoyed the new boat smell, at the price of a new Porsche 911 Turbo, but disappointed of the Yogo workmanship and quality control. :rolleyes::(

    Careful on what the Seller is responsible for fixing. His only interest in the repairs is to get the boat closed. We can assume he is a conscientious and proud owner, but some may have seller's remorse and some may be interested in a quick and easy fix. Have you made arrangements for your surveyor to reinspect the repairs before signing off? Are you asking for invoices from the yard/repairmen? I am sure you will be just fine, so excuse my well-earned paranoia. I almost never let the Seller be responsible for repairs without the resurvey provision.

    It is a brand new boat and I’d assume it has a year warranty on everything. So I’d assume the dealer does it correctly as they don’t want to do it twice or have reprocussions with the factory

    We have faced some 1 year warranty issues where a new boat sale was involved. Demos are the worst.
    The MFG, Broker, seller know they can drag some feet for a while.
    You need to keep a tall flame appropriately located and all agreed on even after the gizmo warranty date has expired.
    Our problem was when all else did not happen, We called the product mfg to be told, That gizmo was sold long ago, there is no shelf warranty and no claim.
    It's not when you purchased the boat but when that gizmo sold that the warranties start.
    IE; A/Cs, ROs and water pumps...
