  1. 88.38-meter Hull 816 Enters Final Phase Of Construction
Feadship has moved their latest yacht into the finishing hall at their new facilities in Amsterdam. The 88.38-meter Hull 816 was moved yesterday and had its superstructure fitted before being towed into the covered facilities where she will remain until her launch and completion in 2021. The design of Hull 816 is reminiscent of another Feadship, the "Savannah".
  2. The new facilities in Amsterdam will be officially opened on the 16th of May which will be attended by Queen Máxima (The Netherlands). Naturally the arrival of this hull was made to cross paths with the official inauguration of the new facilities. As for Hull 816, there is not alot of information that Feadship has divulged. In the images courtesy of Feadship we can see that the new building hall is massive even allowing the installation of the mast inside the shed.
  3. With a length of 88.38-meters and a beam if 13.50-meters her interiors and deck spaces are expected to be spacious. Construction of the hull was made in steel and the superstructure in aluminum as clearly seen in the images. Five decks are available above the waterline and it appears that guest accommodation will be on the main deck and perhaps upper deck for the owner based on what appears to be a large circular skylight in the roof of the forward upper deck superstructure. As construction nears completion and more information becomes available YF will keep you updated.
