News: Sirena 88 Build Progressing

Since the announcement of this project, construction has moved along without being seen too much by the prying public. Sirena Yachts first unveiled the existence of this model at the 2018 Miami Yacht Show. At the time it was being called an 85-foot model but clearly it seems to have added a couple feet since then as it is now known as the Sirena 88. She is now expected to make her world premier at the 2019 edition of the Cannes Yachting Festival.

The design of the vessel is between Cor D. Rover and Frers Naval Architects. They use the base for the hull of the Sirena 64 that results in low resistance allowing for decent fuel economy across a wide range of speeds. The 88.4-foot vessel is being made to pretty much go anywhere without sacrificing the creature comforts and luxury trappings associated with the yachting lifestyle.

The Sirena 88 will be available in different layouts. "We have some additional layout ideas that we are going introduce," said Tanil Surmeli, the Product Manager for Sirena Yachts. "The Sirena 88 will make her debut at Cannes, but some additional layouts will also be shown there". The tentative date for initial technical launching might be in June.
