News: Johnson Yachts Deliver New Johnson 80

New Johnson 80 Delivered To Client​

Last year YF told you about a Johnson 80 unit was under construction by the Taiwanese yard. That same yacht has now been delivered to its owner. The 24.1-meter (79.8-foot) vessel will be a unique build to the owner even though the yard has built 8 units previous to this. The interiors are by Karen Lynn Interiors with an exterior by Dixon Yacht Design.

Four cabins are onboard for owner and guests. The owner gets a full-beam ensuite stateroom with walk-in wardrobe. while there is a VIP and two other cabins with optional pullman. Johnson Yachts say that the interior of each Johnson 80 is customizable and no 80 will be the same necessarily. Regardless, with her 6.3-meter beam, the Johnson 80 gives a big ship experience while under 100-feet.

On paper the new Johnson 80 was slated to max at 25-knots but sea trials proved her top speed is around 27-knots under certain conditions of course. With the engineering of Johnson Yachts and the comfortable as well as stylish Karen Lynn interiors the Johnson 80 is a great entry-level 'yacht'. Without having to break the bank an owner can cater to their guests offshore or to a large parties and gatherings dockside.
