New to this forum and boating, we have made an offer on a 1987 Carver 3607 aft cab and have had the engines checked (1400 Hours) compression test and oil samples both checked out good. The survey is back and for the most part everything checked out well. The boat is in very good shape for it's age. Two things are of concern for me. The bottom blisters and the Ac/Heat in the aft cabin. I will try to up load the list of findings from the survey. You help and advice would be appreciated

I think I would be more concerned about the air cond intake that is broken and the non functioning bilge pump. That's really not a horrible findings list. Is the seller willing to address any of it? If you like this boat, try to work it out. The cost of the survey is already spent. It's likely better to buy this boat and repair it to your liking rather than paying to survey the next one - which will likely have these or other possibly worse issues.

Thank you, Surveyor suggested replacing the ac thru-hull( Not Intake) on next pull out, he said to run the boat this summer and have hauled out replace ac thru-hull, have props tuned , fix incomplete blister repair, bottom sanded and painted. As for the bilge pump, I have asked seller to fix.
