  1. Pershing 140 "Chorus Line" Launched In Italy
Italian builder Pershing Yachts launched their largest yacht to date, the Pershing 140 over the weekend in Italy. She is called "Chorus Line" and now assumes flagship status at the Pershing yard. This project was conceived back in 2015 as not only their largest build yet but also their first all aluminum project. While it is a large model for the yard there is vast customization an owner can make to a craft like this.
  2. Chorus Line is an interesting name the owner chose but it suits the high-performance nature of the yacht with all engines in chorus, the top speed should be close to 40-knots. Pershing is offering this model with a number of engine options that can see her top out at 24-knots or as fast as 38-knots or so. It appears this yacht carries two steerable waterjets and two booster jets. The design is still in collaboration with Fulvio di Simoni despite the overall non-Pershing exterior appearance.
  3. On the interior, the Pershing 140 is offering four guest cabins that are split between twins and doubles while on the forward main deck is the master suite which is full-beam. To accommodate the master suite in this position given the Pershing 140's tapering design, the foredeck is a bit higher than others. Speaking of the foredeck, there is a surprise concealed beneath. There is a lounge area that when at anchor is revealed by the push of a button but when underway can be lowered back flush with the foredeck to preserve the vessel's sleek fore-lines. Other special features onboard include a beach club on the aft lower deck that can open up on three sides (stern, port and starboard). The flying bridge will also be a place to enjoy the exhilarating performance this yacht will offer. 6 special seats line the beam of the forward part of the fly bridge. As this is Pershing's largest build to date, they will be taking their time with the sea trial and finishing works to ensure the customer is happy with their new landmark yacht.
