I am looking at several carver 530’s on inland lakes. These are well equipped and well priced with nice update as and the things we want. Should the boat check out and the price makes sense I will ship it by two wide loads to Sesttle.

Any insight on this? Cost? Time? Recommendations?

I am concerned about the costs of dismantling and reconnecting the bridge plus the transport/permits.

Has anyone done this in the past? Can you recommend a vendor!

Initially I was only looking for a vessel that could be move by water. There is a limited supply really nothing up and down the west coast so I am looking into several boats in the central us

If anyone has experience with hhuthis or can provide a vendor that will help then let me know. Thanks!

Define inland lake. Landlocked or something on the Great Lakes or River system?

For a boat as large and complicated to transport, I would contact the transport company that transports new boats for the builder. I believe for Carver this is Joule Yacht Transport. You might also contact Carver for recommendations on disassemble and reassemble. It would be my preference to have the people who will reassemble it present for the disassembly even if that means flying them to the origination location.

Completely landlocked. Once I get a handle on what it will cost I would be able to potentially make an informed offer. I have heard of some shipping success stories from friends, but those boats were around 45 feet long.

Thank you for the tips. Yes, that all makes sense.
