looking for the manufacturer of the entry door lock set on my 2007 50’ Post. Anyone know who furnished those locksets? The internal spring on my has failed and the door does not latch automatically anymore.

I have an older 50' - MY2000 and I was able to get a replacement latch from Aluminum 2000. I believe they are now owned by Pompanette but you can still find by searching on Aluminum 2000. Good luck

For info of others, I’ve now been led by The Brassworks/Pompanette to Seafarer marine and they have been sent pictures of the set and sound like the right people to solve this. I’ll let you guys know if I get a solution.

Solved. If anyone else has a similar challenge I’d recommend Seafarers Marine in Ft Lauderdale. 954-763-4263. George Foley. I sent him three pictures of the lockset via email . In less than 48 hours, he located the Italian manufacturer and contacted them, obtaining the spring part I need. It’s great when we find answer-guys in the marine services industry!

Was the one off amazon the right size? Doesn't say much in the description. I have been looking to replace my lock for some time, but found most are too long.
