New to forum 2 hrs. old.

Glad I found this. Father had a 1970 41 ft. Roamer Regal from 1985-2000. Would think we had some good pictures of her, but when on the boat, it's hard to get action shots, or away from dock shots.

Dad passed away July 2013. We're getting stone ready and would like to etch a profile of the boat on the stone.

Any help with a good pic or brochure drawing would be great. Had all those at one time but they went to Wisc. with the boat and its new owner.

    Thanks for any help.
    God Bless,
    Les Best

Paste this in your google search bar:

It will take to several photos of that type boat.

Yea, Googled those last night and the night before. There isn't a picture there of anything that I would want laser etched in granite.

I thought that maybe someone that has a 41 may have a nice side view sitting, in the bay, on the river, etc..

A Roamer Forum could be the place to go?

I hope someone has/had more foresight than I did. Have pics of the Salon, engine room, fwd berths, galley, dinette, red plaid carpet, flybridge, bow settee, head, but nothing running or even anchored at the sandbar.

    Thanks again, Les

Greetings- it’s been a while. Long story.
I’m wondering if there are any specs on a 41 al regal sedan flybridge that tell the height without the fb. One can assume that it makes it under today’s bridges, but the transport co wants to know the height. One can also assume that the transport co has a suitable trailer, since that’s what they do...
Also, I find the weight specs listed at 21,500, but the seller says it’s 26,000. Just wondering. Thanks

The book, Chris-Craft: The Essential Guide, lists height as 12'10" (w/out flybridge), weight: 27,250 lbs (steel), 22,650 (aluminum).
Sadly, believe you will have to remove bridge to transport overland. Hence, recommend hiring a charter captain to bring to new port via sea.
    Best luck,
    Eric

Thanks for the info, Eric- the vessel isn’t ready for a long trip. According to the owner it was brought with the the bridge off some yrs back. I looked under the bridge, as he explained the process of bridge removal- numbering and color coding etc. (still tagged from the last move.)quite a process, but doable.
I considered putting it on a barge , but the closest it could get would still be a hundred miles from from where it will be refit, and I’d have to line up someone who could offload it from a barge onto a truck anyway then the bridge would still have to come off for the last leg. Biting the bullet on an overland haul seems the most expeditious since time and weather may not be good friends for long. Mark

Prehasty- thanks for the pics. Supposedly there is a thick folder or such onboard with various systems diagrams etc. I wish the previous owner had mentioned it ( or I had asked )before we left the yard. I’m keeping busy readying the space, and studying up on blocking it off the trailer when it gets here. Pretty straightforward on a small boat, but no room for error on a 14 ton beauty. I need to search the forums, since it occurs to me that this would be the best place to find info. Duh
