I only had a brief moment to ask the owner about this boat as he was throwing lines. He said it was a Prowler. I know Marlow has a Prowler series, but I have yet to see this. BTW, it's not a tender to the yacht Unbridled. Any wisdom on YF...?

Good information to know, that is one relatively obscure "renowned" vessel.................

One of family’s favorite past times was identifying yachts we see while cruising. It’s nice to have a community that can do the same. Thanks all!

The bottom certainly doesn't look anything like a Bertram. O'Neil Craft has done restorations on Bertram hulls. Some of those look similar to this rig. But as far as this one goes I just passed along what's written about it on the www.

This one is a Worton Creek project.
The current owner remembers the boat as a kid.
I was told it had/has Cadillac engines.

she reminds me of a huckins. Great classic lines and I love the subtle S curve on the shear line

I'm surrounded by Hucks. I think the Prowlers are better looking.

This boat sat in a place called Mount Pleasant under a tarp for years.
I could only see the hull from as the topsides were covered in ratty tarps.
I always wondered what was under those tarps as I would drive by there twice almost every week.
One day the boat was gone.

A friend & I were talking and he began to tell me about a boat he wanted.
He and a couple friends were going to buy and restore it.
They had been in touch with the owner and thought they struck a deal.
When they stopped in to close the deal, the boat was gone.
    It was the Prowler.

The owner sold it to Worton Creek !
When I heard that I drove over to WC and sure enough there she was.
That is where I took the pictures.

I think she was a fine looking vessel in her day.
Wonder if they will really follow through or if she just got relocated to a new cemetery......

Fished on a 30 something Prowler a few times back in the seventies. Had Perkin diesels with a short tower, cruised about 15kt. Had good lines too.
