  1. First FD102 Unit Sold By Horizon Yachts
Taiwanese builder Horizon Yachts is proud to announce the sale of the first hull in the new FD102 series. There are a number of sub-models in the 'FD' line including the FD77 Skyline, FD85, FD87 Skyline and FD125 Skyline. You will find the design of Cor D Rover on all of them. To be built in GRP materials, the new FD102 has a few customizations to fit the new owner's taste. The transom will feature a small beachclub area as well as on the upper deck, there is a full walk-around deck. A jacuzzi is to be located on the aft deck.
  2. The FD85 kicked-off the FD series for Horizon yachts two years ago and since then it has grown in terms of completed and delivered builds. Horizon CEO John Lu said, "Since the series was introduced with the first FD85 in November of 2016, the feedback from owners and potential clients has served to further streamline the FD102 design and create a truly remarkable ocean-going superyacht that offers performance and stability as well as spacious interior and exterior areas."
  3. We can expect fairly decent performance with the pair of CAT C32 Acerts onboard. Top speed should be in the region of 21-knots. The bow area is a relaxation zone for guests where they will find a large 'U'-shaped sofa area and paired table, perfect for al-fresco affairs. Just forward of that before the workdeck is a large sunpadded region. Up to five guest cabins can be fitted aboard to accommodate ten guests. The contract for this yacht was signed at this year's Monaco Yacht Show (MYS) and therefore we can expect delivery to be sometime in 2020.
