Caribbean to Asia (HK or Sing)

    I've been getting some quotes for moving a 50' power cat from the Caribbean/Florida to Asia. So far the best I've got is US$43k, vs US$17.5k for the Med! This is through P&M.
    I thought that there would be a lot of traffic between Asia and US/Caribbean, and could be pretty empty going the other way. I'm obviously wrong!
    It may be cheaper to get to the Med and motor ourselves to Asia!

    Does anyone have an idea where to get another quote, or is this probably the best out there?

    Ask around the importers of Asian built boats into Florida and reverse the trip?

    Horizon, Hans-Christian or even Hong Kong's own Cheoy Lee.

    Otherwise it may just have to be the Med - quote from dockwise is US$22.5 and P&M is US$17.5. Still high...
