  1. Sixth CCN 102 Flying Sport Launched; Named "Francesca"
"Francesca" is the name of the latest yacht launched by Italian builder CCN. She is a member of their CCN 102 Flying Sport family and now represents the sixth hull in that line to have been launched. CCN has been quite busy in the last couple of months preparing at least two yachts for launch for this month. Recently they also launched a yacht called "Kanga". They are also busy working on the all-aluminium 27-meter "Freedom" which is expected to launch this Summer.
  2. You will find that this yacht was only sold towards the end of last year which means it started build on a speculation basis. At least it eventually found a home with an American couple. The 100-foot yacht was built in GRP materials in the main and is light enough to produce blinding performance when paired to a pair of MTU 2600 horse power diesel engines. The top end speed is expected to be at 40-knots. Those MTUs are linked to a pair of ZF Searex Surface Drives. The draft of the boat is particularly slim, only drawing 1.2-meters which was requested by the owners as they will be operating the boat in relatively shallow water in America.
  3. Onboard, the interior was formulated by Tommaso Spadolini in conjunction with the yard the owner couple. An American-styled layout was developed along with the American Country-style kitchen. Sycamore and other dark timbers were utilized on the interior along with metal and glass accents. In terms of accommodation, Francesca can sleep eight guests comfortably in a master suite, two twins and a VIP-grade cabin. Three crew members can be slept onboard as well.
