Italian manufacturer Anvera recently announced that they have been working on a new model, the Anvera 48 Carbon. This vessel will be available for the Summer of 2018 and in fact the yard announced that it will be coming in May (the current month). With the Anvera 48 once again we wish to confirm our philosophy of a product entirely built in carbon much like the Anvera 55.The first hull was presented at the recently concluded Versilia Yachting Rendez-Vous earlier this month.

What is cool about this yacht is that it has surprising interior room and sports a main deck that expands, another take on the Wider concept. The vessel is built in carbon fiber fully and this material allows Anvera to mould shapes that simply would not be possible with traditional materials. Behind the console area that is shaded by a hardtop, there is also more seating on the wide open aft deck. This is further accentuated by the fold-down bulwarks. This exposed area can also be covered by a shade sail if needed.

At 14.5-meters LOA and 4.91-meter s wide with less than a meter of draft the Anvera 48 Carbon has dimensions that will get her into pretty much anywhere with ease. Propulsion can be by a pair Mercury 370s sterndrives. The range should be in the region of 300 nautical miles. It appears that Anvera will have the 48 Carbon at the Cannes Yachting Festival later this year for its worldwide debut.
