  1. Last Fairline Squadron Leaves Shed For Launching
As UK yard Fairline Yachts sets its sights on building larger boats and changing facilities to facilitate that process, the yard announced today that they recently launched their latest and last Squadron 78. The yacht left the build shed to be prepared for launching. The Squadron 78 has been quite popular for this British yard and if you can remember, the model was brought into the market around 2002 and since then 115 were produced.
  2. Russell Currie, Managing Director at Fairline Yachts, "The Squadron 78 is a yacht which offered power and style in abundance. It has had an amazing production run and has certainly paved the way for the next generation of large Squadron models. We look forward to sharing the details of our new flagship yacht in the near future." Fairline says that work at the Oundle shipyard will continue on their smaller line of yachts while boats above 19-meters will be focused on in Hythe, Southampton. The last Squadron 78 is expected to hit the water soon and while the yard has not released any details on the build we can imagine it carries a layout to sleep eight guests in four cabins.
