any recommendation as to which private express passport service to use,or not to use? I need to renew mine and don't want to waste time on line at the Federal Building. Even with an appointment it takes forever.

I've used G3 Global Services in Miami, and was happy with them.

They're all pretty good. We use passportsandvisas.com. They have a Miami office.

I have used Swift Passport Services in Chicago quite a bit for myself and crew that I have had to get an expedited passport for deliveries.

There are many good ones in other areas of the country. The OP is in Miami. I personally walked my first passport through in Washington, DC. I needed it and an Visa for Australia so 8:30 AM at passport office, back at 1:30, Australia Embassy at 2:30. They Fedexed to my office in NC for early morning delivery the next day, at their expense, even though I offered my Fedex number.

Thank you for the responses. I ended up using passport and visas. Pretty painless process as they handle the FedEx labels and all. Sent the paperwork to their Colorado office on Monday, apparently they have many offices around the country and must have blocks of appointments with the passport offices picking whatever location has availability.

the passport was in this morning. Not cheap but beats wasting a day at the federal building :)

Curious as to why you went by FedEx with them rather than just walking it in to their Miami office. I assume just easier as you didn't have to leave wherever you were even to get in a car.

Shipping it was the only optoin they gave me. They searche their system to see which office had appointments available the next day. I guess colorado was the only one.

We've had people just walk into their office before and then pick it up from that office in the afternoon. Now, same day does not come cheap.

Several of my crew have done the walk thru in Miami and DC. Both had their renewals completed the same day. Cheaper than the visa services.

Are you taking about walking thru at the passport office? Yes but you need an appointment and often none are available on short notice.
