It may depend on the design of your dinghy chocks. If there is enough surface area, a combination of strong marine adhesive and screwing into the fiberglass may work. They glue down teak and other items these days without screws. If you also fasten the dingy down to cleats and not the chocks, there will be little stress to pull the chocks out in rough weather. Just a thought.

I used screws and 5200 12 years ago and never had a problem.

Look for frames in the deck to screw to. At least for the pad eyes.

I used self tapping screws and 5200 to mount the chocks to the foredeck. I never tie the tender down to the chocks. I mounted 2 pad eyes down low with large backing plates on the vertical surface just above the deck on the forward portion of the molded fiberglass seat that sits below the brow of the boat. I had good access to the back side inside the storage locker above the companionway. (1989 43') I mounted the other two pad eyes outboard of the forward deck hatch. I did have to cut two small holes in the headliner and I epoxied backing plates to the bottom side of the foredeck for these forward mounts. Be sure to use a small Allen hex key or similar... chocked into an electric drill to remove core material (balsa) from around the mounting holes and fill the whole gap with thickened epoxy to ensure that any leaks that develop over the years won't seep into the core. (I did the same for all holes for the self tappers too) I just bought a couple round white plastic blank plates from home depot and built up my backing plate to the appropriate depth so I could screw those plates flush with the headliner to cover up the holes that I made in it. I think I am the only one that even knows they are there. all 4 pad eyes are through bolted with backing plates and large fender washers and they are the only tie down points for the tender, an 11 foot Highfield with a 15 HP Suzuki... I did this install about 2 years ago with no leaks or strength issues to date. Fingers crossed that I can say that 10 years from now!
