The wheelhouse onboard the Bering 65 "Golden Mile" is a nice location. It is well-outfitted and here is a look at the wheelhouse.

    • Ron/Judy, are you able to tone down the screen on those? That wheelhouse would drive me mad at night.
Still one of my favourite builders today.

Bering says all overhead lights in the wheelhouse are dimmable LEDs... as for the screens, i'm not sure but it could simply be how the photo was edited or just appeared to the camera. Might not have been as bright as suggested in the photo.

I'm sure the screens can be dimmed. Why have so much space on the sides and only a single helm seat. It would be VERY boring to sit there by youself all day long.

There's a large settee aft of the helm seat for those wanting a grand forward view or for keeping the captain company. Not everyone needs/wants a co-captain or backseat driver. Of course, all Berings are semi-custom and one can request as many helm seats as desired.

I'm aware of that, but due to the large step up and whittling around a table, it's not a desired spot and a sea-state. Being next to the Captain is where most people want to be so they can have a conversation and see whats going on with all of the instruments.
