IMG_0475.JPG The switch next to the emergency shut down is a push/pull switch and the wires go down thru salon ceiling wire run and starboard side and down 3' and bare wires, they look original,I have no idea what this switch was for, many of switches/breakers have been moved next to salon/aft deck door from the panel under the galley steps, I am thinking it might have been for engine blowers ?, do these 1980 style 46' post run and engine room blown switch at the helm ?it might be a good idea to be able to turn on blowers from helm? Other than engine wiring what ran down the starboard wire run from the helm IMG_0494.JPG

Is your blower switch next to the port emergency shut off or near your left knee?

Sorry I don't know what I was thinking ? Got my port and starboard mixed up,the switch I am referring to is on the starboard side ,it's the unlabeled push/pull to the left of starboard emergency shut down ,the wires from the switch run down the starboard side of the wire run and end or are cut off right above the 110 breakers, its odd most switches are labeled on the helm and you would think the blower would have been too? There is a breaker /switch on the main panel " bilge blower" which I would assumed was the breaker for the port and starboard blowers, was the "bilge blower "the breaker and the switch ? Or was it the breaker to send power to a switch on the helm?....if it's not the blower what does this switch run on your boats? ...maybe it was just added for an asserory that no longer exists.....when a lower helm was added to the boat and a lot of the D.C. Switches/ breakers off the main panel under the galley steps it has left a few loose ends that I have to tract down, thank you guys for all your input ,it's really helpful

On my 1980, the blower switch turns on both blowers together and the switch is located in a group of switches by the back bulkhead door.
I do not have a blower switch at the helm.
I do not have a lower helm either.
every switch in the boat was labeled with factory tags or the old, homemade, plastic jobbies

Looks like you got a lot of extra rocker switches that are not Regional so who knows where everything goes in that situation seen the pictures of the helm they added down below so I don't know what to tell you

    Yes

My steps are hinged in the center and fold forward for access to the panel.
