I don't think Rio is an actual project. Also, not sure if Thor is a project as well. We haven't seen her hull and she should be launched this year.

How about Project Jupiter and Thunder. I believe their launch is very near.

It doesn't look like Palo Alto and just seems to be an extension of their 85m platform. Jupiter and Thunder both had their hulls transferred already (at least Jupiter) so I don't think it is either of those. The holder of project Rio has had that project listed for quite some time before and have had projects that have existed on their website but never come to fruition. I think this is just another project that wasn't previously disclosed.

Well since Jupiter has already been launched I am guessing that we will be seeing Thunder in early 2017.

Lurssen is keeping busy with another 130m hull being moved to their outfitting locations

I think we have seen the aft section of this one before and she is now going into the Drydock where Jupiter was being completed

This yacht doesn't look like the Project Thunder that was floated out in 2015 without its bow am I correct?

No, it's definitely not thunder. I think, it could be project redwood.

Thanks for the clarification, redwood seems more likely. Its amazing how Lurssen's order book contains only the largest yachts in the world, pretty amazing.

Thunder is currently in the largest drydock on the Weser. For me she is the most interesting one. I believe she even has an helicopter hangar.

If project Thunder was the hull without a bow we saw previously in November 2015 then yes she does have a helicopter hangar- it is on her aft bridge deck.

This new 130m yacht has a very interesting bulge running down the main deck, it will be interesting to see what that becomes.

Yeah, think so too. And thunder doesn't look like a yacht for the Middle East, to much deck space.
The hangar should be on the upper deck. Very interesting design. I think we will see her in the next couple of month.

Yes I like the design of this new project as well. Has some deck space and I think it will look excellent when new.

It looks like that Lurssen hull from a couple weeks ago is called Project TIS and is 111m. She is designed by Andrew Winch and she should be Palo Alto.

Lürssen is very busy right now. To make that clear, they (technically) launched three 100m+ yachts in the last 2 weeks:

    - Project TIS 111m
    - Project Jupiter 123m
    - The one which was launched yesterday, maybe Project Redwood 130m+

I don't think that TIS is Palo Alto, because Palo Alto is a projectname, too.
So they are two different ships.

Where does the name TIS come from all of a sudden?

Nevermind. I noticed it. This certainly doesn't make things any easier.
