Well, there goes my hope of a nice design that's not too filled by maximizing volume per the yachts destination after launch.

You mean, one more of those "no sundeck and other open deck spaces" monsters for the middle east fan club :). Do not worry, it will be not that bad. But one more time, this floating dock got closer to its deadweight limit.

The customer gets what he pays for.

    Dear Sirs,

I appreciate world class engineering but do you remember when your yard used to build elegant yachts?

Please can we have those days back?

    Yours faithfully

    Fishy Dave.

She is now in the water, so far not very exciting built, we haven't seen her stern yet so maybe that will have some interesting features.

Except for some features, like this questionable bow emblem and those very prominent Sat bubbles, I cant really find much negative design features on her. Massive and focused on volume, yes. But I have to wait for picture of her profile and some stern views to make up my mind. Any idea about this black piece of equipment under glass on the coachroof in front of the bridge deck?

We should open a thread for her.

There are some aerial views on another site. It's an... interesting design the way the forward decks look from above and how they are stacked. There's also a nicely sized pool in the stern and a jacuzzi on the aft sun deck.

It really does have some sharp angles when looking at her from the top.

Project Jupiter which is estimated to be around 120-meters is to be launched this year, Project Thor as well, around 74-meters which I believe is the larger Northern Star variant. Of course Project Omar (the new Dilbar) will deliver this year as well.

Another large superyacht moved sheds recently at Lurssen. The aft half of the vessel can be seen which means the front half has to be welded perhaps making the yacht a 100+ meter.

Looks like it gone now. You had to go to "search" and type in "Dilbar"

It's not gone... Instead of Dilbar type in Ona... When the images first went up I wondered why it was under her old name.... Anyone have any thoughts on the interior design... I wish the images included a GA layout.

    Hello,
does any one know are the projects Rio and Sasha completely two different projects? Or project Rio become project Sasha?
Or there is just one project but names and meters are mixed up on the websites dedicated to the Yachting?
For example here above is listed project Sasha due to delivery 2016 but on the websites is listed due to 2017.
Also you can find project Rio listed for delivery 2016?
    What is right?

I would be really surprised if they launch "Sasha" it will be rather 2017.

BTW Azteca arrived at Lürssen Rendsburg for a refit, Global should be relaunched very soon following her 20ft extension.

According to reports, the 72M Coral Island has been renamed Coral Ocean, and will now be offered for charter. Could be that a successor is on the horizon.....
