I need to replace a circuit breaker. The breaker panel is located behind a smoked plexi-glass sliding door. The problem is that the screws on the left side of the breaker cover panel are not accessible, because the door won't slide far enough to allow access to them. The door handle hits the wood frame before the door slides far enough. It's been suggested that I might be able to lift up on the door enough to remove it from its track, but I havent had a chance to try it yet. Can anyone say for certain how this door is removed, or at least slid far enough to allow access to the screws? thanks in advance, enjoying the forum.

Lifting to clear the bottom track is how many of them work. If yours has protuding handles, removing them may allow you to slide the door further. Some will also have a stop screw in the bottom or top track, removing this screw will also allow the door to slide further.

1/4" drill bit and 3 holes later... problem solved.
