Hey all. I have a 1986 Carver 4207 with a water leak dripping from a water line behind the aft head vacuum tank. I believe it is coming from the connection to the shore water supply under the side deck. I tried to get at it from topside but could pull it out only an inch. I can't get to it from inside for some one my size and physical capabilities. It looks like it is just forward the starboard gas tank.
We just purchased this boat and love it. The bilge pump takes car of the build up of water in the bilge but eventually it will turn from a leak to Niagara Falls and need to avoid that.
Can I ask for any help for an easier process to tighten what needs to or replace what neds to?
    Thanks!

I have an update. The leak is from the crimped water line clamp below the side deck shore water inlet. I'm going to replace whatever crimped fittings with Sharkbite fittings and adding inline shut off valves where ever it would make life easier.

    Hi Chris
Hope you have been able to correct your water leak.
I am looking to buy a 42 aft cabin Carver and have a question that hopefully you might be able to answer.
When you anchor your boat and assuming its a bit windy, will the boat point into the wind or will it swing from side ti side?
