Philip Walwyn, a long-year yachtsman died at the age of 68 last monday after falling overboard near Lizzard Point at the coast of Cornwall, shortly before he finished his 17th atlantic crossing, 6th singelhanded. He was found in very severe condition after his backyard-built yacht Kate, a replica of a Mylne-designed 1st rule 12mR yacht with gaff rigg was found empty. He died shortly after he was brought to hospital.
Deeply feel sorry for his family. Really sad story.

Yet clearly a life well lived.
