Looking for One Particular Door Latch

    2001 Azimut Sea Jet

    The port aft stairs, from the main deck down to the swim step, act an entrance into the laz/engine room. This door has a circular hatch/latch. There is a stainless "seat" or female end then a separate male end that is the handle and locking mechanism. This male end wasn't secured and has sense been lost.

    Does anyone know where I can locate a replacement?

    I'm thinking a machine shop, as the boat is 16 years old at this point.

    Is there a matching component elsewhere on your ship? Another fellow Mut owner with the same latch you could borrow?
    A good machine shop could copy it quickly if they had a template to go with.
