Does anyone know where this classic Burger is? I looked at it many years ago, and just came across the sales booklet for it. Just wondering if it is still around and what condition it is in???
Could any of these be the one you are looking for? http://www.marinetraffic.com/en/photos/of/ships/shipid:437255/ship_name:NORTH STAR# https://books.google.com/books?id=i...onepage&q=yacht north star burger 75'&f=false http://www.lukebrownyachts.com/burger-yachts-for-sale/ http://www.boattrader.com/search-re...01/Radius-100/Keyword-burger/Sort-Length:DESC https://books.google.com/books?id=Z...onepage&q=yacht north star burger 75'&f=false http://bradford-marine.com/december-2014-e-news-vol-16-jimmy-floyd/
Thank you! I had forgotten the Captain's name, John Hanson. I remember he was a real gentleman and showed my father and I, around the boat (mid 1980's). It was kept it such fantastic condition when we looked at it. Unfortunately we were a few days late, they accepted an offer the day we first looked at it. I have a big soft spot in my heart for older Burgers!! Steve
The didn't have the glitz and glamour of todays 'Super Yachts' . . . but the older ones eg: Pink Lady, Trevellen, Lady Diane, Panacea, etc. were the quality boats of my era!
