    Now, anyone who says Rising Sun looks like a greenhouse obviously hasn't seen this! Strangely provocative however :s

    The owner of this one must have his own Conservatory company! :D

    Paraiso was built by Van Lent and her sistership Azteca (Lion Wind) by De Vries. The lines can also be found on The Highlander and another greenhouse is Cedar Sea II. All Feadships and all designed by Jon Bannenberg. (Who also designed the Rising Sun...)

    Did anyone guess the boat pictured in post #32 & 33? It was re-fitted with a completely new interior recently and it's as fast as it looks. Actually, very fast for a 75' boat built in the early 90's.

    Which is precisely why you have to find these crafts attractive in any amount, purely out of the respect you have to have for Jon B.

    I remember that I was very impressed when Paraiso was new and I saw her in Monaco. I those days she was also considered a big yacht...

    If you take a second look on her and compare with the lines of Eco, you will find many similarities. Not so strange despite it had another designer...;)

    Thanks for the tour. It's always interesting to see which yachts left the old Europe for US. For example Aquila and Paraiso were in Palma just one month ago.

    Surprised to see that Evviva has still this name. I heard that she had a new name following a recent sale. Do you know something about that?

    #20 -> Moonen, Victoria del Mar
    #32 -> George Heisley ?

    Yes, this is Transition. Designed by Tom Fexas and built in 1991 by Derecktor/New York. Nice boat, I was onboard once...

    Well done Lars! Yes, Transition is the name. Very sleek boat with a beautiful refit. One of the features I particularly like about this design is the set-back flybridge. It gives a long bow to look over and makes backing into slips easy. It feels like a much larger boat when operating, yet it handles quite nimbly.

    This 103' Lowland named "Suncoco" looks like a yacht named "Maine" (always a Lowland 103, built in 1992 if i recall well) that was moored for many years here in Cannes (South France) but without the flybridge.

    Are the the same boat?

    Great tour Carl! I'm too late to play the guessing game but I was all over that Fexas! ;) Are the patrol boats guarding Rising Sun just like they do the cruise ships?

    Well, I can't find the mag it was in... maybe I didn't actually "buy" the mag and just browsed it at the store. Who knows? I definitely remember seeing the pastel blue hull expedition vessel before though. Maybe someone who keeps their mags better organized would know which one she was featured in.
