    Victoria is our most favorite cruise in port. Beautiful fun city. Photo of harbor is from a couple of years ago.

    We stop in Victoria three or four times a year, with one of those being the Victoria Splash, held this last weekend. They put the Vic Symphony Orchestra onto a barge and 40,000 people gather to hear some kickass classical music. They always end it with the 1812 Overture that incorporates cannons, the carillon bells at the Parliament Building and fireworks. Kyacks and small dinghies can listen afloat right in front of the barge. A bit crowded, but great fun and highly recommended.
