Hi, I came across this and really had to ask myself if these people are for real. If they really are going for it to publically state they had planned a 3000 mile sail from Mexico to NZ for years should be all any judge needs to realize that these people didn't know jack about where they were going, what they were likely to encounter along the way or probably even much about their final destination. Experienced sailors? how many open ocean crossings had they already completed? Sounds like food poisoning or pre-existing problem with the sick youngster. Already had antibiotics on board? Damaged/Disabled ship? SFBs. Child endangerment charges should be next. As mentioned in another post, you can't convict stupid people,,, Yet..

The child was on the first round of antibiotics, from another story, due to salmonella. The first round does not always work. This was a horrible move by those "parents" with putting their lives in danger.

I'd pay into that for a few posters, but not for you. Think you might need to find another way to get rich (or lower the quality of your posts). Then again I seem to recall a guy looking to build a miracle car and few other fly-by-nighters who might pay in.
