I have Post 42 hull #3. it is a total restoration case. Several tries at contacting Whorton Creek has yielded no responses. Has anyone gotten a response out of them without waving vast sums of cash under thier noses? I was an Egg Harbor owner for 30+ years, I guess I got used to being treated like family, even if I never bought a new Egg.

I concur with Beau and Ruby,

about 2 years ago, I had some conversations with the New Post about a new production 50 Post.
I did not get the feeling that they were ready to produce new boats at that time.

Does anybody know if they have produced any new boats yet?

No, the "New Post" have not built any boats and won't until someone places an order. They did have a few Posts in over the winter in for some refurbushing and some upgrades. They built a huge new building for the new Post company but it is full of junk and old equipment from the original Post Marine.

A friend of mine who is a shipwright, recently quit his position at Worton Creek.

Oh, and one last thing, Worton Creek bought Post Marine for 50K.

Sounds to me as 'the day they moved it, the day they lost it'

Yeah, I think Worton Creek had grand elusions about people lining up to order and buy new Posts.

Well they are never going to get there at this rate. Brand loyalty only goes so far, and a reputation for ignoring potential customers is a sure fire way to fail. They should see this thread, I'd send them a link put I guess they would ignore it too. :p

50K would be a steal !! Maybe they should try and sell it for what they have in it and do everyone a favor. Would love to see new ones rolling off the line. I have not had any luck calling the new owners either. Looking for parts as we speak and having to try and track down other options is a pain the the a%@.

It is sad to hear this.
Funny thing is, when I contacted them about the T shirts they called right back! Sounds like maybe they have their priorities mixed up.

Being as I can't get an answer from them, can anybody take a good, close up picture of the Post script on their boat? Maybe I can get some made. Looks like we are going to get more support here on this site than from the factory.

Stainless. That logo takes a lot of salt spray in a sea. Stainless can always be polished to a mirror like finish (new).
