I found a six spoke stainless steel and mahogany steering wheel, it has a 1" taper to 5/8" with key way and a 3 1/2" mahogany center cap, then a 9" dia. S.S. inner ring (5/8" dia.) and another outer S.S. ring 18" dia. (3/4" dia) , and on the spoke ends is a 4 1/2" long mahogany handle for a max. size of 26 5/8",
this wheel looks old style (1950's- 60's (?) but never used (just like new)
I have been looking for days on the net for one the same, and I cannot find one. Anyone have any info. on this type of wheel please let me know. I'm looking for the boat / ship(s) it was used on and the year(s) and the value to replace. Thank-you for your time. Jim

Common to Chris Crafts. I have one in storage from my 1964 Chris Craft.

Did you find it under your pillow or acquire from another human?

You need to ask that person; because Google and Bing seem to be feeling your pain.

Hi Laurence & Old Phart, thank-you for your response
I was told by the previous owner that he received this wheel as a birthday gift for his cave, and the gift giver told him they had the high bid at a
"Chris Craft auction in Algonac MI., that is all the information he could give.
(Laurence, what is your wheel max diameter?
I have looked under the mahogany center cap and it's new and smooth, this wheel has not been mounted or tightened to the helm. Coffee's up!
    My search continues...... Thank-you

It's just like a wheel my friend had on an old Connie. Two rings and Chris handles.
Gad I loved that ship. Triangular shaped bath tub in the bow. I was told it was allot of fun in that tub....

    New wheel

    Jim
This is my present wheel. Picked it up on ebay a few years ago. I think from a CC Roamer 46.
