    Beautiful Yacht

Love most of them....they all have something to say to us, but I still
like the Feadship "Callisto", 214 feet.

The styling is classic. I feel the most beautiful of all.

Interesting question. $600 million after taxes and if you take the lump sum will net maybe $300 million. Considering cost of matainence is 10%, I wouldn't spend more than $30 million. After 10 years that $30 million dollar toy has cost you $60m.
If you want a big boy boat like an Eclipse, pelorus, rising sun...you need big boy money. BILLIONS.

Actually a bit worse than that. $600 million lump sum would be about $335 million lump sum. Taxes withheld at the time would be 25% reducing it to $251 but depending on the state and circumstances, the winner would probably owe another $35-40 million reducing the net to about $210-215. Still a lot of money, but you're quite right, it's not the billions needed for the big boy boats as you call them.

The boat I'm on. Whenever and whichever that is, it's my favorite until it changes then a new favorite.

I hate getting old...I've been drawing a blank all day...and had to break down and call a friend of mine, she finally called me back just now...So. If money was no object, and I could have any boat in the world...it would be the Pegasus 5. Hands down, no BS...the most incredible boat I've ever seen! I don't know how long she is, nor who built her. But I could never imagine a finer boat...even Octopus.

the Luxury Motor Yacht Pegasus V is an amazing modern 258 ft/79m yacht with breath-taking innovative features for you and your guests.

Not sure how old you are but I did note the time of your post on a Saturday night and I doubt I could have figured it out at that time either but let me help you here.

First read the link you posted, length is noted, click on the link and the home page for that yacht pops up, click on SPECIFICATION and whoa there is all the info you are looking for.

    Hope that helps, lol

If money was no object- It's between Pelorus, Topaz, Rising Sun and Eclipse.
If in reality (Where sadly money is an object:()- I could spring out for one of the smaller princesses or
sunseeker's even that would most likely prove too expensive as well.

I absolutely adore the Mondango, such a beatuy! She may not be the biggest but she more than makes up for it in elegance.

Here in South Georgia, we do not get to meet many fancy big boats. Last summer we were introduced to S/V MoonShadow. Such a great owner and mate (real mate). This Deerfoot 62 design was gorgeous. We miss George and Mermia who demonstrated great people enjoy great ships.
She sold and I am unsure of her new name. I know the new owners are having a great time on such a wonderful ship.
Later, I looked up Deerfoot. None were a pretty as this one.
    Yep, a Fav.

If money was no object, I'd charter all kinds of mega yachts around the world. Having a captain and crew would be a nice way to see the world.

In the end though, I like running the boat, knowing the boat and working on it in the capacities that my skills allow. So I think I'd still have a 50 to 65 foot sporty or trawler ( as my wife gets older ! ) to cruise around the Continental US.

At the cost of fuel, money will NEED to be of no consequence soon !

No holds barred, if I came in golden on all fronts, I would most probably have two.

The Maltese Falcon - I would literally pile gold bars at Elena's feet to buy that. It's not just a yacht, is more of an expression

    Et,

Something a la Paul Allen's Octopus. Lurssen made, in my opinion, the most functional yacht I have seen with that one, albeit, I may have solar panels.
