Vicem is still building in wood as well, and if my memory serves me correctly, some of their bigger yachts (25M+) are cold molded as well.

I can't wait to get down there on Friday. My camera is all ready to go!!!!

Well AMG, I guess we both get gold stars!!

    gs.jpg gs.jpg

I viewing this video TROUTOPIA 2006 Lazzara 80 - YouTube I found out she just got a new paint job thus no identifying markings. She has an absolutely exquisite interior as well.

It is always interesting to see who gets to the finish line first, well in this case it is the recently launched 120' Trinity yacht Finish Line!!

    s (3).JPG

This yacht's lines give herself away as a Benetti Classic 115 that was delivered to her owner in 2002 and last refitted in 2013. The yacht's interior has been designed by Zuretti.

    siete2.JPG

She looks even more impressive and imposing in this head on shot; just le'me get out of the way before you hit the peddle to the metal!!

    siete.jpg

Next we has another Italian beauty the San Lorenzo SL 94.

    sanlorenzo.JPG

From this angle and in this light she looks even more sleek and sexy than her profile. Watching this one getting docked was lots of fun!!

They guys are having fun getting this one lined up in her slot at the boat show.

I recently saw "Finish Line" getting outfitted at the Trinity yard in New Orleans in the early summer, can't wait to see her up close at the show. There is also a great article about her in the newest edition of ShowBoats International.

Aphrodite one of the Westport 130 series looks very elegant with her name emblazoned on her side and stern in gold which in my minds eye makes her a real standout!

    aphrodite.JPG

Aphrodite is the Greek goddess of love, beauty, pleasure, and procreation. Her Roman equivalent is the goddess Venus.

I am in love with her too whether I am looking at her profile or stern.

    Aphrodite2.JPG

Le Bon Joujou is French for Good Toy!

This 116 Flybridge Series motor yacht was built in 2009 by Lazzara Yachts is a wonderful example of American craftsmanship as she grabs looks by all who she passes by.

    le bon jonjon.JPG

You can tell a Benetti from any angle.

This looks to me to be their new Delfino 93 Gallery | Benetti Yachts which is one gorgeous hunk of yacht in my book!!

    benetti2.JPG

This power cat got my attention as she was cruising the action on the ICW during show setup due to her unusual color blue hull.

What can you say about a Van Dutch 40?

I am going to stick my neck out and say that I bet they give the Wajer & Wajer Osprey 38 a run for their money although I realize they are slightly different fantastic animals.

    vandutch.JPG

They are beautiful absolutely stunning boats no matter how you look at them!!

    vandutch2.JPG

This is unmistakeably a Sunseeker Predator 130 who was launched in 2011.

    nsn3.JPG

What I find unusual about this copy is the floating tent arrangement to provide cover to the passengers on the rear lounging area.

    nsn1.JPG

The hanging mechanism is a thing of beauty in and of itself!!

Even in a line up of multi-million dollar superyachts Lionwind will always make you stop for a second look.

Designed by the iconic Jon Bannenberg and built by Feadship you will not find a better pedigree!

    lionwind.JPG

Part of her distinct look is achieved by what many would say are the radical lines of her windows among many other firsts created by Bannenberg.

    lionwind2.JPG

Superyacht Secret Spot is a 105' Lazzara built in 2004 and was last refitted in 2011.

    secretspot (1).JPG

Paraffin at 197' is the third largest superyacht for sale in the show and boy was it fun watching her try to moor within the confines of the ICW newly narrowed by the dock extensions for the Show.

She drew quite the neighborhood crowd of folks to watch the spectacle of tugs and crew juggling the yacht and lines to get her into her final position.

    parafin.JPG

There are so many yachts in the Sunseeker line it was almost impossible for me to figure out where this copy fits in but I dare to say perhaps around 45'?

Nevertheless a very nice looking boat and looks to be well equipped considering all the domes on her top!

There were quite a few sport fishing machines going to the show but unfortunately I do not follow that segment of the industry so I have no clue as to make, model, the size, etc of these yachts so feel free to chime in with any info you care to share about these beautiful boats.

Thanks for the pics Disco, they are definitely Hatteras and Vikings. I'm almost positive the first pic is of the new Hatteras GT 63 and the white Viking is the EB 76, have a look KKreicker1, she's still beautiful!!!

The van Dutch is an absolute cool boat, but when it comes to details.....not so much. They use imitation wood decks, sure care free but not as pretty as a......
But when you look at the van Dutch price wise it's a cool boat I also like the 55 version.

    Have you seen Any J-crafts?

The elegant blue hulled 100' yacht Da Bubba is bright and equipped with an armada of lavish extras. She was built in 2005 by the American shipyard Hargrave to the highest level of fit and finish!

    dabubba (3).JPG

Here she is the 150' Trinity yacht Encore built in 1998 and then refitted in 2011 with all the latest bells and whistles as you will see here ENCORE - 150' Crewed Luxury Yacht Charters in Caribbean, Bahamas, Florida, New England - YouTube

    encore.JPG

This brightly painted sleek boat is a beautiful example of a Formula Fastec go fast boat.

Formula has been successfully building everything from bow riders to full fledged yachts all with one thing in common, speed, speed, and more speed!

    formula.JPG

Ok ladies and gents, here is another chance to win a gold star if you can identify this sleek slightly contemporary yacht that has your photographer stumped yet again.

    mystery2.JPG

What do any two tow boats do when they have a little down time before their next big job, they hang out, they start to mess around a little, one thing leads to another, and then maybe before they even know it they get to first base with that first little kiss!!!!!!!!!

Hahaha, yes I am keeping a close eye on you!!

What can I say..... I like a well constructed yacht.
Still think it's a but weird that van Dutch is promoting it's yacht as a Dutch built. While it's American made.
I like the miami vice image a van Dutch sends out.

As I was reading this thread and came across Disco's remarks on van Dutch, I found myself quietly cringing. Thankfully ombreetsoleil spoke up. Don't be misled by the Dutch moniker because it's not representative of the quality and execution you would expect from the namesake. The interior carpentry was right out of Home Depot's Hampton Bay line, which is an oxymoron in itself. Vinyl covered particle wood!

Disco also calls them "beautiful absolutely stunning" and I know many here agree with that. I don't like their appearance at all. I do however respect those who do. That's why we have so many styles because we all have different tastes.

I think that is the one what we looked at. I really loved the 76EB! I just wish that I could justify the need for a new SportFisher! Please take a look at her if Dave has time! She is still on my list for new toys.
