Just getting some info on a delivery. Not many details yet but coming thru the Okeechobee waterway (West to East) November / December.
Once on the Florida east coast, need haul, bottom, and provisioning before tripping thru the islands.
Is there a convenient boat yard near the east end that can pick up a 74 x 20?
I remember looking down from southbound I-95 (over the waterway) and seeing a large yard but it looked a bit fine and expensive.
    thx,
    rc

There are several. Hinckley is big fine and expensive. But there are others.....I can't think of their names, but they're ok. There's also ACY right before you get to Stuart that does good work.....

Hinkley boat works or Whittaker Marine. Whittaker handles Fleming repairs. I have had good work performed by both.

Avoid Sailfish Marina. They damaged my boat and did not care!

Well, some of these names can not handle over 18-19 beams. Thank for for the thoughts anyway.

Both Hinkley and ACY can. I worked on a 98' LRMY and a 75' Jim Smith SF and they were both hauled there. ACY hauls 100'+ vessels as well.

I've been through ACY on a 108' Sunseeker and they did great work! Very knowledgeable and reasonable with costs. Highly recommended.
