I emailed Showmanagement about the Los Olas bridge and they replied, "We were told that bridge construction would seize during the boat show. This may mean that all lanes will be open but no guarantee"

When I went over the bridge today all four lanes were open so perhaps the traffic Gods will be smiling on us for the duration of the Show!!!

If you want to avoid all the traffic, just park at the convention center and take the bus or water taxi to Bahia Mar.

I agree, or the lot on the SE side of the 17 st bridge. The Water Taxi is by far the easiest on Saturday and Sunday......weekdays the trolley/buses are fine.

    Let The Fun Begin!!!

    Let the fun begin!!!

The first boat anyone sees when they attend the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show aka FLIBS before any other is the ubiquitous bright yellow Water Taxi!!

You can't live with them and you can't live without 'em!!

Sunreef's new 60 footer really caught my eye!

    sunreef.JPG

You could not miss this sleek looker not only because she was docked in front of Lazzara's unmistakable modern looking floating showroom but also because she is a great representative of that striking Lazzara look!

    lazzara.JPG

Here is one of Cruisers entries looking for her place in the parade.

This somewhat traditional yet sleek and unique Mochi Craft 74' yacht Savvy has stolen my heart!

There were a couple of Bertram sport fishers that really stood out as the parade of boats entering the docks passed by.

    bert.JPG

I am not a Bertram expert but this looks like their 64' model to me?

    bert4.JPG

And this one is obviously their 80 footer.

    bert2.JPG

There is something about a well proportioned boat like these that really catches my eye.

Not only do they look sleek but they also look like they could get up and go!!!

    Enjoying the pictures.
I must admit that the yacht from the cruiser series doesn't seem right.
Like someone has photoshopped the front window.
Keep the pictures coming. Weather looks much better than in The Netherlands.

As I was taking pictures of the yachts arriving at Bahia Mar there were a few that I could not identify so I thought I would start today's installment with a mystery quiz.

There are actually two mystery yachts here so the first to identify each gets a gold star!!!!

The first picture is at the top of my Big Lottery Winner list, she is fast, sleek, and is a very modern design.

    IMG_1750.JPG

The next four shots are of a yacht that looks very familiar but I just cannot place her.

    IMG_1832.JPG

    IMG_1824.JPG

I could not see any identifying marks so good luck with this one!!

    Great photos disco!

The first's bow arrangement certainly suggests a Heesen Yacht.. so I would guess it is their 50m"Satori"?!

Here is your second clue to help you guess the name of one of my top Big Lottery choices.

Here so much is revealed this shot is almost a dead give a way to win that ever so coveted gold star!!!

    IMG_1752.JPG

Here we have four beautiful Westports and you only have to guess the name of the the last two!!

As an extra added bonus here is a fabulous video of the fantastic 130' Constellation so you get to see more of her exterior and her lovely interior as well!!

    2007 130 ' Westport Tr-Deck Mega Yacht "Constellation" Video - YouTube

    IMG_1968.JPG

Resolute is another of the 130' series built in 2007 which almost makes her a spring chicken.

    IMG_2060.JPG

Or better yet I bet if you purchase one of the next two I bet you get to choose your own name for them!!!

Double your pleasure, double your fun!!!

AMG has the second yacht correct.

Also known prior names = Imagine and Mia Elise.

Would that top photo be the Heesen Yachts 50m superyacht Ventura?

After seeing another photo I am 100% shure it is "Satori"!

@CapLady "Ventura" has got a black hull and grey superstructure.

One of the most oft asked questions at every Boat Show seems to be, "Where are the babes?"

Well wonder no more as always FLIBS stands right at the top with the best of 'em when it comes to curvacious beauties on the water!

    IMG_1675.JPG

So who is looking at whose rear end in this photo??

I think Mazu wins that contest hands down as she is built to handle just about any conditions!!

    IMG_1677.JPG

    And here???

    IMG_1914.JPG

    IMG_1772.JPG

And just who exactly is she smiling at here, why could it be the guy with the zoom lens?

    IMG_1981.JPG

And least ye all be too distracted don't forget to check out the sweet little Sunseeker yachet in the background with the light blue insert in her hull.

After all this is a yacht forum for goodness sakes!!!

I agree Milow232, It has to be Satori. At first I thought maybe they painted Ventrura but that can't be. It's Satori for sure. Good one!
