    In Freeport up the Freeport creek those that were in floating docks survived the storm much better than those that were hauled out.Those that were on fixed docks did worse than those that were hauled out. The dock type did matter. Ask me how I know.

    The statement above just made that picture really disturbing.........

    Not to worry. Right now it's a big black boot and a cane.:D However "disturbing" works for me. I've "disturbed" a few people in my life. :D

    Sadly it is not just the euro builders. Today I was looking at newish hatteras MY, about 70/75', that was refueling and realized the cutout for the boarding stairs was by the pilothouse door. Nothing aft by the aft deck so if you re stern in with a finger pier less than 50' long, you re out of luck.

    Would have been so easy to build in doors on each side of the aft deck.
