A number of setbacks during the construction of its new facilities and a temporary shift in the superyacht market had moved the yard into somewhat turbulent waters. In 2007, management paved the way to improvement by focusing its efforts fully on the construction and refit of sailing and motoryachts. Various non-core activities were sold off. Today, Jongert expects significant growth and the availability of new capital will allow Jongert to invest in the future and fully exploit the opportunities in the motoryacht segment. Yesterday Jongert launched the "Lucia-M" the 39-meter motor yacht that was in-build. This is a very significant launch for them!

Wow I am only now finding out about this...that is a sad lost...this yacht was in Greenz for a while since the winter season. And I found it odd why she was staying there for so long.
I was a bit surprised if I found the newest press release from Jongert in my inbox. I expected the announced 32-meter performance line sailing yacht and found a 18-meter motor yacht there. Very cool to hear something new from that Dutch yard. Motor Yacht Tommy, by Jongert on Vimeo
