    Hi,

Has anybody ever been to the Monaco Yacht Show? and has any tips for me??
I am going next month and just heard so far that it is the best boat show in Europe.

I have to be careful not to promote our project here (I don't want to get in trouble:) Our customers are boaters and as I am new in this business, try to find my way around and get some reliable info.

Please let me know which are the best boat shows!!

    Thanks, :)
    Bettina

Hi, Monaco Yacht Show is a nice event if you are into Superyachts. I have attended many times, but my favorite BOAT show is Genua, coming up a couple of weeks later. It is less than two hours drive from Monaco. Try to see both!

This year I could just see the MYS on the Notari.tv webcam... :)

Here are som screenshots, first the usual inhabitants with Lady Moura as the center-piece. Later you see that pontons are moored in the center of the port and probably a hundred exhibition tents are surrounding the event. I think there are more yachts than during the Monaco Grand Prix in the port?

Today most yachts from the show has left and Lady Moura is coming back, making her famous pirouette, dropping two anchors and reverse into the center slip. All in less than 15 minutes, not bad!

I went to the show this year and it is for superyacht buyers. I think the smallest was 80 feet. They did have a display for tenders. It cost 40 euros to get in. That is 50 U.S. right now. I looked at 3 boats just for fun but they were out of my range and desire. Overall it is a great event.
