Makkum: December 14, 2007:The hull of the 43.30 M long newbuild motor yacht arrived at the Bloemsma Van Breemen yard in Makkum late last year. The hull was subsequently placed in the building hall at the yacht facility.

The 43 M luxury motor yacht was designed by the talented Pieter Beeldsnijder and when the hull and superstructure became one for the first time, the design also manifested itself in reality. According to Van Breemen yard, Beeldsnijder designed both the exterior and interior of the yacht.

The 44-meter luxury yacht under construction at Bloemsma & VanBreemen is in its final stages and should be launched by Spring 2010 according to schedule. All indications point to that she may be named "Free Spirit".

She is a nice smaller yacht! I like her lines.

She will have a white hull and superstructure. Blue is optional.

Truly a remarkable yacht, especially with the "owner's upper deck" with private balcony on the forward side. No fold-out balcony, so it is usable under way and it offers a lot more privacy. The systems are an engineer's dream and the internal layout and amount of storage space are excellent both for charter use and long-range world cruising.

Pieter Beeldsnijder (known from masterpieces as Athena and Ethereal) did an excellent job. He's also the designer of Belle de Jour (see above), but she wasn't built by Bloemsma & van Breemen (except for her mast).

I'm owner's representative on this project (now known as BVB44m), so ask away if you have any questions, and I'll try to answer.

That's nice Innomare! You can reveal an exact launch date, other than 'Summer'?

Finally she has been launched. Even your 'July' seemed to be off-track. It's nearly September!

Lol, yes "July" was too exact as you point out.

Rather than launching her just before the shipyard's holidays, we decided to launch her after.
