Anyone know who makes them and where to order them?

The snap in from the inside--I only have one good one--the rest are missing.

    Any help appreciated!

I have a Carver 3608 and it uses 7"x24" ports with pop in screens. I also got the same lack of help by phone but the below link should get you what you need : Bomar - Portlight - Gray Series Rectangular. Just click on the link in my reply.

Sorry, I thought the screens were listed there. You might go back to that web site and click in upper right corner " contact us" and tell them what your looking for.

HA HA HA HA!!!!! I tried that and no luck.....I cannot believe this is so hard to get a small screen replaced. I might as well go get some velcro and wire mesh myself and make them.

I tried Greatlakes Skipper.....no luck there either. "go look on our website and good luck" is all you get.

The one good screen I have is 22-3/4" X 5-1/2" Rectangular in shape, rounded at the edges--snap in--snap out.

-that is going to be my next step---they seem pretty simple to make so shouldn't be a big deal---just surprised that Bomar would not have records or a part number associated with them?

    Well nothing is easy!

I did talk to "Nell" today at Bomar--I suggest anyone reading this ask for her by name or her ext is 233 after calling the BOMAR main number, she went out of her way to track down the screens I have.

I ended up sending them pictures and the OD of my portlights so they can get me an exact match. Standby.

Thanks to all who responded! I appreciate it!

Will do....and that is also the intent of this thread so there is a record and the next guy will not have to climb up the **** hill to get parts.

Still working on the "parts Ship" that remains to be seen--guy is jerking me around but I am not giving up hope. I also found the install instructions for the hard top--you might want a copy of that?

You are onto something here - I refuse to pay $195 and up for screens, the price for this part is absolutely ridiculous.

I spoke to a wire mesh manufacturer (Custom Wire Cloth - Belleville Wire Cloth Co - Cedar Grove, NJ) who actually sells to these window screen manufacturing crooks, they told me the screen size that they use is a standard 18 x 14 window screen mesh. I placed an order for a small amount of the screen and I am going to try to rig up something myself. If I am successful in my DYI journey (a 50/50 chance at best), I will post pictures and exact directions on building your own replacement screens.

Will be in touch soon as I am expecting to see the mesh sometime today or tomorrow.

Try looking at Sailboat Owners Club website. They sell Bomar products cheaper than Pompanette. I replaced my port lights on my 89' 3607 and was very pleased with their service and pricing.
