you should name the boat "AMBITIOUS"

I am sorry, i dont know anyting about these boats other than they seem to have a cult following like the 57 Chevy and the Colt Peacemeker

good luck, sounds like you have a project on your hands.

    please take and post pictures.

these type of threads are my favorite and keep me checking several times a day.

    lots of luck.

you certainly have a project , my 57 roamer about 14 yrs ago gave me headaches with the 32 volt system as well as keeping the batteries charged without boiling them too much , had a Neptunus electrician moved onto the boat to problem solve and repair , ended up having a huge ordeal that fall with leaks under the fuel tanks , and my Marina is right beside a shipyard , on the Grand River near Port Maitland , ended up cutting the bottom off and rewiring the whole boat as well as every thing else , 12 volt 32 volt and we added 24 volt also , a yr and a half later , Quick Re-Lease was all better

    Take a deep breath first!

Your comments take me back to my first time on our Roamer. My wife was asking "What is this for?" while I was trying to figure out all the switches, valves and things I had never seen before.

I was fortunate enough to find my wiring schematic, but is was never updated and the previous owners were very active and not too picky about running wires and pipes.

I am presuming you have found the drains and have taken the caps off them.

Start with the 120v wiring first from the isolation transformer (big aluminum box somewhere). Trace back to panels - a helper will aid this.

    Take pictures!

    The Museum does not reply

thanks for the referral however the CC research or the library will not pickup the phone or reply to my requests...its very frustrating...is there a secret code?
Where are you located? What year is your yacht? Can you make a copy of the wiring diagram for money? brad

    Wiring Diagram

Mine is a 1969 38" Regal and I am in Watkins Glen NY.
I scanned the drawing in 4 sections, but the files are too large for this forum.

I can be reached out side of this at longwell(at)corning-cc(dot)edu.
I am not sure if this violates our site policy.

We have scanned files for electric plans for our 1971 58' Roamer Riviera that we found on the vessel when we purchased her.
