No I haven't seen it posted here before. That was an expensive mistake. Not just for the yacht but their reputation and business.
I'm pretty sure that's the first appearance here... As Arcanis said, another one for the DYT brochures.
I was at a yard in Bellingham, Wa. about a year ago and watched a 55' steel trawler fall 16 feet from the TravelLift. Fortunately it was a well built steel boat and it fell into the water. It was remarkable how relatively little damage there was to the yacht. There were a lot of mistakes with the worst being that the owner was aboard. It was a serious accident that could have been tragic. It really was painful to watch. The owner still hasn't completely recovered. Judy
