Does any one have info on the recently launched Oceanco project MY Ambrosiana? She seems to be sold and is still in Alblasserdam at the Oceanco facility with on her Portside the name Alfa IV.
Hi Fred, I checked Oceanco's website and I didn't find anything on Alfa IV. What do you know about her? Carl
I've got several photos of the Yacht at Oceanco in Alblasserdam. For background information I would like to know who the current owner is, does she "replace" the Benetti ALFA and other, whatever, info.
Let's see the pics, Fred. Maybe one of our "lurkers' will chime-in and enlighten us on the details. Carl
Awaiting publication of my photo(s) at the and of this week in Florida you will have to settle for a small combined image. Left you see the Yacht and at the Right you see the name on her Portside, "ALFA IV"
She was launched at Alblasserdam on March 20th. It is indeed the new Alfa to replace the owner's Benetti named Alfa and placed on the market just last week. Her owner is from Greece. According to the info, she will go on seatrails shortly and her delivery is set for the end of May. Oceanco will showcase her at the Monaco Show in September so I suppose that we will see her over there, if not sooner... Design by Richard Hein - Oceanco and interior by Andrew Winch. I would like to see more of het but I'm certain that we will...
Thanks for the info. I assume the editors will do there work, so they get ther info anyway. But I just like to do a compleet job. I mailed your info on. If al goes well, over this and next month two magazines will print Photos of the ALFA IV. If anyone can get me in contact with the crew (and any other crews in the Netherlands) for nice group Photos and Yachting story I would be very grateful. As soon as the magazines hit the street I'll tell you which magazine eventualy print the photos of ALFA IV. Fred
The 2004 OceAnco megayacht, Alfa IV had her name changed to the Aviva II, many of us knew that. However, she has had her name changed again and not only that but she has been completely repainted. Her new name is Pegasus. She now feaures all white with silver-grey accent areas. So out with the flag blue hull and blue accents.
Another new name for the same yacht. This boat has been changing hands regularly. Her new name is "Sea Pearl" SEA PEARL
Sea Pearl ( ex Alfa4 ) arrived 1 week ago at oceAnco's. Probably for maintenance. Very nice to see her together with Nirvana.
