    Amazing to think that a single USCG radio call moved a half a million people 9 hours later.

    If memory serves me right there were complaints about the lack of organization in trying to get boats coordinated to help, what the report did seem to realize is that the boats are not all sitting around waiting fora disaster. what they did accomplish was amazing under the circumstances. Too often, reporters look for negatives in order to be different, disappointing profession..

    There is also a book, " All available Boats" Amazon has it.
    There were so many heros that day and the days that followed.
    The boating community always comes to the rescue.
