Had enough with shrink wrap. Had a winter cover made for 50' Post. If you would like one PM me and I will send picture of it. (E-mail address removed)

Smart move. I have told customers to skip the shrinkwrap on larger boats as the shrinkwarp does more damage than good. The custom made covers although expensive pay off in the long run. If you average it out you will find that custom covers are cheaper over the years as compared to shrinkwrap. Make sure to get a company that installs cleans and stores the cover.

    50' winter cover

cover goes from bridge to transom. It was custom fit to just the 50' Post. Cost was $2700.00. Most of this cost was the templet.

    50' Winter cover

The cover is made of Heavy Stamiod Fabric color Sand. it will last a long time with very little maintance. It a kind of a PVC fabric that sheads water. It fits like a glove. i don't know if I can post a picture on this site. I will try.

    I had one made for a 46.
No tower and a soft top.
We'd take the soft top down carefully and the cover went from stem to stern.
Ours was one piece, which is really too much to handle.
It is over 10 years old.
We have had it back to the manufacturer twice for repairs over that period.
    It worked as promised.
We no longer use it as the boat in in a shed now.

    Happy New Year !

How do you protect your foredeck, cabin house and hardtop with equipment from Boston's ice and snow?
