Baglietto jumped to mind but clearly it isn't a baglietto...

leight notika centaurian built by nedship yard in turkey. they built several of these and they are between 35 and 37 meters in length. design is bill dixon i believe.

peri yachts now make a revamped version of this design as their 37-meter model...

Super T is on the money...

I passed by again this afternoon and earned a better look and view of her name:

    Phoenix
    2003 35m Ned Ship

Interesting vessel - although the waters of Venice seemed to have today drawn in another very unique work.

Creation is limitless as we blend art with technology.

Do a search on YF for "Radical New Yacht" or "Adler". The thread was from about 4-5 years ago. Interesting build.

built by lauderdale marine center which i think is quite strange in itself because this is more of a maintenance/refit yard if i'm not mistaken. she has two paxman diesels and is pretty fast, around 50 knots allegedly. the owner seems to like speed since his last boat was also special: 36m baglietto with twin MTUs driving waterjets and a central gas turbine driving an arneson which would be trimmed up when not in use to reduce drag. that previous adler was and still is one of my favourites. beautiful, timeless design by alberto mercati which 25 years on still looks better than most new boats. i saw her a few years ago at miami show when she was for sale and she was absolutely beautiful, in perfect shape. the engine room was immaculate and i think i remember the valve covers were engraved with the name and profile of the boat. the interior was original and a bit dated of course but same thing: it looked as if she had been delivered by baglietto the week before. the owner obviously cherished her and i only hope that her new owner loves her just the same. i seem to remember that i was told that the original owner is a gentleman from texas...

I agree with you on the previous Adler. And I notice that you have a Shift Key as you have used it on MTU...:)

LMC was the location of the fit-out, but it wasn't LMC's crew, to the best of my knowledge (which is limited on this project). Specialized contractors were flown in from all over the world for each step. If I recall, the foam for the hull & superstructure was cut at Vectorworks. Plugs were made on-site. Pieces pulled. Plugs destroyed. Truly a one-off yacht, never to be copied.

Great to see some info on ex-Eco; I was conducting sea trials with a different Blohm & Voss vessel, also a very high speed one, at the same time the Eco was undergoing trials. I have quite a number of pictures of her taken either from our vessel or from a helo that was hired to photograph both vessels running together.

Her combination of very high speed, largish size for a yacht (then) and striking exterior design was really something special at the time. 1989 or 1990, I believe it was?

    unknown yacht

Pretty sure it was build by Palmer Johnson. I could be wrong. It was taken on September 6 in the Welland canal, St. Catharines.
